For the last four years Michael Kelly mandolins have been pioneering a new market segment for F-style mandolins. The company now looks to set a new standard in A-model mandolins.

Michael Kelly's new A-Series was developed to fill the void in the market for a high quality, feature packed A-style mandolin. In recent years while F-models came with all of the cool features and high quality materials, A-style mandolins were relegated to only entry level quality by most brands.

Bucking the trend, all Michael Kelly A models are built with solid spruce tops, solid maple backs, Grover tuners and dovetail construction. Several models also include such in-demand features as radiused fingerboards and a flame maple back.

The new A-Series includes a unique oval hole version called the A-O. The series also includes a more traditional A-Solid model with a suggested retail price of only $469.00. The feature packed A-Plus along with the A-O have a suggested retail price of $715.00.
