New York, N.Y. — The New York Mandolin Ensemble under the direction of Bob Rose and Steven Antonelli will appear in concert on January 13, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. as part of the Second Sunday Performance Series, Lenox Hill Auditorium, 331 East 70th Street.
The program includes music by CPE Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart, Debussy, Sonny Rollins, Terry Riley, Antonelli, The Lewis Family and Ernesto Nazareth Baldoman.
The ensemble includes Bob Rose, Steven Antonelli, Victor Kioulaphides, Bruce Clausen, Wayne Fugate, "Khabu" Douglas Young, Mariam Charney, Johnny Reinhard, Chad Hamer, Steven Mack, Linda LoPresti, Tim Weil, Sue Evans and Diane McKoy.
Instrumentation includes mandolin, mandola, mandocello, octave mandolin, tenor and baritone ukulele, bass, guitar, percussion, piano, violin, viola, cello.
