Butch Baldassari
The first of four mandolins in the possession of Gruhn Guitars of Nashville will go on sale this week with the proceeds from the sale of the instruments donated to the Butch Baldassari Medical Fund.
Mandolins from Gibson, Weber, Collings and Trinity College were donated a month ago in response to support for Baldassari who has been battling an inoperable brain tumor for close to nine months.
The instruments were on display at the October 22 benefit concert in Nashville that featured many friends and supporters of the Baldassari family.
Links to the individual sales of the instruments will appear on the Mandolin Cafe Classifieds with all questions and control of the mandolins (shipping, financial transactions, etc.) handled by the staff of Gruhn Guitars.
