Milan, Italy — The 3rd Annual International Italian Mandolin Academy under the direction of Academy Artistic Director Carlo Aonzo is moving to a new location and date.

After holding the first two Academy events in Savona, the 2008 edition will commence August 24-31 near Milan, Italy close to the Milan airports (about 40 minutes driving time) on the Italian side of Switzerland on Lugano Lake.

The first two Academies were attended by musicians from all over the world, and 2008 promises to offer an equal experience to its international students.

The Academy offers a unique opportunity for beginners as well as professional musicians to learn and improve their mandolin technique.

Updates on the details of the 2008 Academy will be made available here as that information becomes available.
