Carlo Aonzo Mandolin Workshop, Madison, Wisconsin

Madison, Wisc. — A Carlo Aonzo mandolin workshop will be held Sunday, November 4, 2007 from Noon - 3:00 p.m., 41 Rough Lee Court.

The workshop fee is $50.00. Reservations may be made by phone or e-mail, but your place will only be confirmed when your check is received. Space is limited and advance reservations recommended prior to November 1.

About the Workshop:

All levels are welcome, and it will help greatly if you can read music. Carlo Aonzo of Italy has been recognized with awards at prestigious competitions around the world. He has toured throughout Europe, Japan, and the United States as a soloist and with chamber ensembles and orchestras including La Scala Philharmonic in Milan. As director of the Orchestra a Pizzico Ligure, he has been called to play in the presence of Pope John Paul II.

Aonzo will appear in concert with and guitarist René Izquierdo the previous evening, November 3, at 7:00 p.m. See this article for concert time and location.
