Traverse City, Mich. — Don Julin will appear in concert with the Traverse Symphony Orchestra at the City Opera House on September 8-9 when they perform Mozart's "Deh Vienni alla finestra" from the Opera Don Giovanni.

Julin will appear in a short piece that consists of a vocal solo with mandolin obbligato while the string section plucks chord changes.

Performance dates and times are as follows:
Saturday, September 8, 8:00 p.m.
Sunday, September 9, 3:00 p.m.

The Traverse Symphony Orchestra is under the direction of Kevin Rhodes, conductor. This concert is the 2007-2008 Season Opener, a festive concert gala at the newly-renovated historic facility, with red carpets, decorations and dash. Featuring a grand staircase, elevators, and comfortable new cushioned seating, the City Opera House "must be seen to be believed," claims Maestro Rhodes.

Joining him will be five additional spectacular soloists: sopranos Ollie Watts Davis and Kimberley Dolanski, mezzo Stacy Eckert, tenor Eric Ashcraft, and baritone Robin Buck. Musical selections will be culled from The Magic Flute, The Marriage of Figaro, Cosi fan tutte, The Abduction from the Seraglio, and more.
