Port Townsend, Wash. — Choro: The Sweet Lament of Brazilian Music, is the title of a workshop on the music of Brazil to be presented November 8-11, 2007.

With Mike Marshall (mandolin) Andy Connell (clarinet & sax), Brian Rice (percussion), and Carlos Oliveira (7 string guitar), this thirty person workshop is open to all instruments and all skill levels.

Evening jam sessions, combined with Brazilian film and audio session will be offered in addition to daily class sessions.

Participants will receive free admission to the November 10 performance by the faculty and will also join the faculty on Sunday morning for an authentic Brazilian brunch.
