StringNation - A Modern International String Music Festival

Camden, N.J. — StringNation, The First Annual Music Festival completely devoted to Modern International String Music will held May 11-12, 2007 at Rutgers University's Walter K. Gordon Theatre.
Headlining this year will be Tim O'Brien, Mike Marshall and Brazilian bandolim phenom Hamilton de Holanda, celtic multi-instrumentalist Seamus Egan, Darol Anger and his Republic of Strings, Swedish Trio Väsen, and the Stephane Wrembel Trio's gypsy jazz with Bryce Milano.
An all-star lineup is set to take the stage in a dynamic form as they mix together and come up with a variety of never seen before combinations.
In addition to concert performances, workshops will be held in all styles from around the world including The Art of Choro, hosted by Mike Marshall and Hamilton de Holanda.
There are a limited number of scholarships available for students wanting to attend the workshops and concerts.
