The Music of Bill Monroe

Champaign, Il. — University of Illinois Press is set to publish The Music of Bill Monroe, by Neil V. Rosenberg and Charles K. Wolfe on April 12, 2007.

Touted as the definitive study of Bill Monroe's contributions to American and world music, the authors cover over 1,000 separate performances and a complete chronological list of all of Bill Monroe's commercially released sound and visual recordings.

Session dates, times, producers, personnel, song titles and authors are but just part of what make this the only complete biodiscography of Monroe and his music.

Hardcover first edition books are available for pre-ordering at University of Illinois Press web site.
