Alan Bibey, one of the most creative and technically gifted mandolinists in bluegrass and acoustic music will hold a mandolin workshop at the Perry Bluegrass Barn in Statesville, North Carolina on Saturday, February 21, 2004, from 10 AM - 4 PM.

Alan was a founding member of New Quicksilver and IIIrd Tyme Out, and appeared in 1995 on a project called Young Mando Monsters which features the hottest young mandolinists in bluegrass today. Alan has recorded with greats such as Herschel Sizemore, Lou Reid & Carolina, Ronnie Bowman, Tony Rice, Jerry Douglas and many others. He also recently appeared on the cover of Mandolin Magazine as the feature interview. Alan currently performs with the award winning bluegrass band Blueridge.

Workshop details:

Prepay: $35.00 per peson.
Day of workshop registration $40.00 per person
