LoarFest West

LoarFest West

Bakersfield, Calif. — LoarFest West, part of the SuperGrass weekend sponsored by the California Bluegrass Association announces the line-up for Thursday, February 1, 2007.

Among the highlights of this year's meeting is a panel discussion featuring Mike Kemnitzer, Lynn Dudenbostel, Steve Gilchrist, John Monteleone, and David Harvey, with moderator Roger Siminoff leading the discussion.

Held in the Bakersfield Convention Center which is attached to the Bakersfield Holiday Inn Select, all events will be held in a single ballroom. Due to the value of the instruments in attendance and on display, security will once again be provided by both uniformed and undercover police and select SuperGrass staff.

The Holiday Inn Select is currently sold out, but rooms are available within walking distance at other hotels and shuttles will be available. Hotel and motel availability for the festival will be announced in the near future.

LoarFest 2007 is once again co-sponsored by the Mandolin Cafe.
