Alan Bibey

Bluegrass mandolinist Alan Bibey will be conducting a free mandolin workshop as part of the The Stokes Stomp Festival on the Dan River, held September 16, 2006 at Moratock Park in Danbury, North Carolina.

Workshop is sponsored by King Music Center and starts at 1:00 p.m. Mandolinists are encouraged to bring their instrument.

Alan is one of the true young mandolin legends and is responsible for influencing many of the up and coming mandolinists of today, as quoted in Bluegrass Unlimited.

Since first hitting the scene in the early 1980's, Alan has made a name for himself as one of the most creative and technically gifted mandolinists in bluegrass and acoustic music.
