Fur Peace Ranch Camp

Fur Peace Ranch Camp

Jorma Kaukonen's Fur Peace Ranch Camp will be holding its first all bluegrass/string band workshop from October 20-24, 2006.

The instructors will be Barry Mitterhoff on mandolin, Tony Trischka on banjo, Beppe Gambetta on acoustic guitar and Jorma Kaukonen teaching acoustic finger style guitar.

The Fur Peace Ranch is located in the beautiful rolling hills of southeastern Ohio. Class sizes are small (generally under 10 students per instructor). Students stay in quaint double occupancy cabins and the gourmet meals are prepared by chef Mark Kroutel.

There are workshop classes every day, a concert by Tony & Beppe with Barry joining in on Saturday night at the 180 seat Fur Peace Station Concert Hall and a student concert on Sunday afternoon. Jamming goes on everyday and night.
