The First Italian International Academy of Mandolin

The first International Academy of Mandolin for the popularization of the Italian art of mandolin playing will be held in Savona, Italy on September 10-17, 2006 and offered in different languages, for every level, with the aim of learning, improving and perfecting the style and original Italian technique of mandolin playing.

The week is concentrated on the study of the technique and repertoire of playing the Italian mandolin and on activities of chamber-music according to the level of each student. At the end of the course the participant will receive a certificate.

Courses will be directed and coordinated by Carlo Aonzo. The lessons are given by Mr. Aonzo in collaboration with other teachers and qualified assistants.

The deadline for registration is August 5, 2006. The course will be given in English and at a request of minimal 8 participants, the classes are possible in the Spanish, French, Japanese and Italian language.
