LoarFest Announces 2007 Discussion Panel

LoarFest West and SuperGrass

The Second Annual LoarFest West, a part of the SuperGrass Weekend hosted by the California Bluegrass Association in Bakersfield, California, is pleased to announce the members of the LoarFest 2007 panel discussion.

The CBA has confirmed February 1-4, 2007 for SuperGrass and LoarFest.

The 2007 panel members include legendary builders Steve Gilchrist, Mike Kemnitzer, John Monteleone and Lynn Dudenbostel. A fifth panel member may be added in the near future.

The 2006 edition of LoarFest West was a gathering and celebration of Lloyd Loar mandolins and included displays of Loar mandolins by their owners, a panel discussion featuring Loar historians and experts, and a star-studded lineup of musicians playing Loar instruments. 2007 looks to repeat this historic event with new speakers, new features, and as always, some of the finest mandolin players in the world.
