Hamilton de Holanda and Mike Marshall
Two of the world's most accomplished mandolinists will celebrate the sheer joy and wonders of pure music-making when Mike Marshall and Hamilton de Holanda perform together at Wintergrass 2006, February 24-25 in Tacoma, Washington.
Mike Marshall, considered one of America's premier mandolinists, teams up with Hamilton de Holanda who may be new to some music fans in the U.S., but is a legend in Brazil with his custom 10-string bandolim.
The two had their first musical encounter in France last October and have since performed together in Europe, Brazil and California. They have just completed a new CD that will
be released in 2006 on Marshall's Adventure Music label.
Other mandolinists of note who will be performing at WinterGrass include John Moore, Wayne Benson, Ronnie
McCoury, Adam Steffey, Danny Roberts and Jesse Cobb.
