Brazilian mandolin master Paulo Sá will be teaching mandolin and Choro during an upcoming trip to the U.S., from October 22, 2005 to February 13, 2006. Most of the time he will be in the Seattle, Washington or Portland and Eugene, Oregon areas, but has plans to visit Los Angeles and San Diego as well.

On November 12, 2005 he will give a Choro lecture and performance at Cornell University in New York. The event will be free and open to public.

Paulo has both a masters and doctorate degree in Brazilian Popular Music from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. People interested in contacting him for classes should write him at paulosa@compuland.com.br up until October 22, and then at paulo_sa@comcast.net after that date.
