New York, N.Y. — Carlo Aonzo's 15th Annual Manhattan Workshop will be held June 4-7, 2015, providing a wonderful opportunity for musical growth for players of all mandolin family instruments from intermediate through professional.

Enjoy the camaraderie of learning and playing with fellow mandolin enthusiasts in a warm and supportive environment and experience the wonders and pleasures of New York City.

One of the greatest classical mandolinists alive today, Aonzo has a deserved reputation for warmth, patience, and extraordinary teaching. Attendees are unanimous in their praise for the quality of experience offered at this highly regarded workshop.

Carlo will be joined again by Cuban virtuoso guitarist Rene Izquierdo.

The workshop will consiste of four full six-hour days devoted to mandolin orchestra. Exercises & techniques will be integrated into the orchestra sessions.

Each year music is selected from a variety of eras and styles and encompasses a range of opportunities for musical growth for all levels. It is sent out to participants months in advance of the workshop, on receipt of payment, and is now ready.

This year's music includes a fugue and a concerto by J.S. Bach, two sonatas by D. Scarlatti recently transcribed by Victor Kioulaphides, an Italian romantic symphonic prelude by U. Bottacchiari and a turn-of-the-century light piece by J. Rodrigo.

A limited number of spots in the workshop are available. Early registration is strongly recommended.
