Milwaukee, Wi. — The Hal Leonard Corporation has announced the publication of Celtic - Mandolin Play-Along Vol. 2, a Book/CD combination educational collection.

The Mandolin Play-Along Series is designed help you play your favorite songs quickly and easily. Just follow the written music, listen to the CD to hear how the mandolin should sound, and then play along using the separate backing tracks.

Standard notation and tablature are both included in the book. The CD is playable on any CD player, and is also enhanced so Mac and PC users can adjust the recording to any tempo without changing the pitch.

Is there a "Vol. 1" of this? I can't find it on the Hal Leonard site or online.

It looks like the Mandolin Play Along series is structured with a different idiom for each volume...volume 1 is bluegrass. There's a seperate thread in this section announcing that. Nice idea and not a bad selection, but only 8 tunes? That doesn't take you very far.
