San Francisco, Calif. — Jody Stecher has announced the release of his first project, Wonders & Signs, devoted entirely to his own original compositions.

"I got brave enough to do this project when, after hearing my songs, folks stopped asking me 'did you write that?' and started asking 'where did you learn that?,'" said Stecher. "I was helped by a splendid crew of musicians. The time, energy, and enthusiasm they put into learning and recording this repertoire has been heartwarming. There are some sad songs here and some funny ones. Most are both. If you laugh and cry during the same song, you're hearing it as I meant it."
