The First Annual Midwest Mandolin Festival

The First Annual Midwest Mandolin Festival

The First Annual Midwest Mandolin Festival, sponsored by the Mandolin Society of Central Indiana and Frank's Violins will be held on Saturday, June 11, 11:00 am to 8:00 pm at Summit Lake State Park near New Castle, Indiana.

Performers include The Miami Valley Mandolin Quintet, il Troubadore, Johnandrew Bellner, John Gates with 1100 South, Mark Kurkowski, Mandolindy, Slates Family Band, and Buckdancer's Choice. Special guests include the Dayton Mandolin Orchestra, and Homer Pass, 2004 inductee into the American Old Time Country Music Hall of Fame, with Mike Butler on mandolin.

There will also be mandolin workshops and open stage time. Admission is free with a paid entrance to the park.
