I don't know about this book but his Beatles book wasn't so hot. Basically just song melody and chords. You could do just as well if not better with a good fake book. There were no real arraignments.

About the Beatles and the new Pop Classics book. These are designed for the "Beginning" Mandolin player.
Easy to read notation of the melody's with chord diagrams and tab. This is what Hal Leonard ask me to do and I did it.
If you want to arrange them you are more than welcome. These are just to get folks started. Thanks, B. Westfall

It's good to know that these books are for beginners. It would be even better if they were advertised as such.
