Jim Nollman - The New Old Time
Jim Nollman has released a project entitled The New Old Time consisting of what he terms deconstructed fiddle tunes.
"I operate a small recording studio on San Juan Island, Wash. focused on music production, with an emphasis on producing locals, as well as musicians from around the world who wish to add natural sounds to their music. Starting in 2007, I have been slowly producing my own songs, which feature ambient sounds, plus my own mandolin playing," said Nollamn.
"For The New Old Time I'm using my jazz and techno sensibilities to see if it was possible to make these tunes my own without ruining them in the process," he said.
im Nollman, founder of Interspecies.com is a musician with a history of sharing his music with the whales off Vancouver Island and other cetacean rich waters.
