Nashville, Tenn. — Join Grammy-winning recording artist Sam Bush in the studio in sunny Destin, Florida the weekend of December 9-11, 2011 and study record production at MPI: Music Producers Institute.

Sam is opening his studio doors to ten lucky MPI students while he records new material for his next album in beautiful Destin, Florida at Neptone Recording Studios, a state-of the-art recording facility located near the heart of the old Destin Harbor. (Destin is located just 49 miles from Panama City Beach Airport with convenient connections anywhere through Southwest Airlines or only 16 miles from Northwest Florida Regional Airport in Valparaiso, FL).

Legendary artist and multi-instrumentalist Sam Bush is one of this year's nominees for Musician of the Year by the Country Music Association. "As a voting member of the CMA and long-time fan of country music, I am surprised, excited and electrified to be in the Top 5," says Bush. The winner will be announced during ABC-TV's live telecast of the 45th CMA Awards November 9, 2011. The multiple Grammy-award winner has also been honored by the Americana Music Association and the International Bluegrass Music Association.

Music Producers Institute is the first and only studio clinic that grants you "all access" to your favorite artist's master recording sessions. Attendees will spend two days in the studio with Sam Bush from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily December 10-11. On December 9, attendees will hear an all-day presentation on record production and engineering from Grammy-winning producer Steve Fishell, founder of MPI. Sam will later join the class on December 9 for 30 minutes to discuss the next two days sessions. For three days you'll see, hear and study the "real-deal," from pre-production and arranging to tracking, overdubs and vocals.

Since 2008 MPI has hosted sessions with Kris Kristofferson, The Del McCoury Band, Sam Bush, Delbert McClinton, POCO, Radney Foster, Raul Malo, Robert Earl Keen, Todd Snider, Jason & the Scorchers, Jerry Douglas, Rodney Crowell, Asleep at the Wheel and Foster & Lloyd. It's like gaining three years of production experience in three days.

Tuition for this three-day Sam Bush recording event is $799. No previous studio experience is necessary. To learn more visit MPI's website or call MPI at (615) 283-0201.
