2011 Festival Mandolines de Lunel - The Two Godfathers' Edition
Lunel, France — Mandolins de Lunel, an annual celebration of the mandolin in France will be held October 26-29, 2011.
The Festival's "Godfathers," Mike Marshall and Brazil's Hamilton de Holanda are back to head the 8th edition of the Festival. These two monsters of the mandolin opened the first Festival in 2004 where they met for the first time.
Throughout the weekend, attendees can expect world class performances and workshops from a wide variety of musicians representing many styles of music for mandolin.
Lunel is located in south central France between the towns of Nimes and Montpellier.
