Stefan Colind - The Strings Alive Project

Stefan Colind's The Strings Alive Project is the first release from this Denmark based bluegrass musician.

The recording features some of Europe's finest musicians including Swedish fiddler Thomas Haglund who played with Jimmy Martin in the 70s, Germany's Jesper Rübner-Peters (author of The Mandolin Picker's Guide to Bluegrass Improvisation) and Sweden's Jimmy Sunnebrandt of the band G2 on bass.

"The tunes are all written by me, and are played with the love of traditional Bluegrass. However, I stayed very true to the ideas exactly as they came to me, so the result is full of surprises, unexpected chord changes and innovative creativity," Colind said.
