Charlton, Mass. — Mandolin Camp North 2011 convenes April 8-10, featuring an all-star line-up of mandolin instructors.
This year the camp welcomes to its staff Jesse Brock, Jeff Midkiff, David Harvey, Sharon Gilchrist, David Surette, Skip Gorman, MCN Directory Mike Holmes, Phil Zimmerman, Dave Reiner, Martin Grosswendt, Dr. Richard (Richie) Brown, Bill Walach, Lorraine Lee Hammond, Alan Kaufman, Ben Pearce, John Rossbach, Dave Howard and Mike Rivers.
This year's camp will be held at Prindle Pond Conference Center, Charlton, Massachusetts.
Within the musically rich and diverse staff are the very finest in jazz, celtic, blues, bluegrass and old-time musicians, making Mandolin Camp North one of the country's premier acoustic music events of 2011.
Not just for mandolin players, Fiddle Camp North—new this year—will offer instruction at all levels at the same venue. The camp also offers concentrations for beginner, intermediate or advanced level for guitar in order to maximize the camp experience and to round out band classes and jam sessions.
Mandolin Camp North is under the direction of Mike Holmes, Camp Director, and Phil Zimmerman, Music Director.
