Burlington, Mass. — Rounder has announced a March 8, 2011 date for Sierra Hull's newest solo recording, Daybreak, Produced by Union Station bassist Barry Bales.

Daybreak is a much anticipated follow-up to Secrets, from 2008. On the new recording, Hull wrote 7 or the 12 cuts including her first western-swing number.

One of the most respected artists in the new school of bluegrass, Sierra Hull has received 5 IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) nominations in the past 3 years and is the first bluegrass musician to receive Berklee College of Music's prestigious Presidential Scholarship.

Is she playing a Gibson now? Looks that way from the press photos. Should be a great album from what little I've heard.
