Da Capo Alba - About Time

Da Capo Alba, the orchestral section of the Lanarkshire Guitar and Mandolin Association has released About Time, thought to be the first ever recording project by a UK-based guitar and mandolin orchestra.

The orchestra is comprised of 30 members who play mandolin, mandola (octave mandolin), guitar, bass or percussion instruments.

All proceeds from sales of the recording will be used to further the promotion of mandolin and guitar and public education in mandolin and guitar playing.
