Seattle, Wash. — The organizers of the 2010 Classical Mandolin Society of America convention have made available the following announcement.

----------------

We are sorry to report that the Bulgarian Quartet Seasons will not be able to join us in Seattle this year.

We are delighted to report that Evan Marshall will be joining us in Seattle! Evan will perform a free mini-concert on Thursday over lunch and a full concert on Friday night, and will teach two workshops. For those who have not had the pleasure of hearing Evan play, you are in for a real treat. His music is nothing short of jaw-dropping.

Mike Marshall has announced that he will be playing his two concerts with the prodigiously talented young mandolinist Josh Pinkham. Those will be some seriously high-energy performances!

Sue Lesser - Seattle Host Committee Chair
Lou Chouinard - CMSA Convention Committee Chair
