Reels and Fakes is the new release from Three Bean Salad of Lawrence, Kansas and features several of their award-winning original instrumental compositions for mandolin, fiddle and guitar.

The track Scratch Box/Scritch & Scratch has just been awarded the 2009 Winfield New Songs Showcase Instrumental Winner. The CD also contains the 2007 Winfield Instrumental Winner (Cowley County Breakdown) and the 2008 Instrumental Winfield Alternate Winner (Homer's Hoedown/Dan Kessinger's).

Personnel include Mike Black on mandolin, Dayle Black on fiddle and Mike Yoder on guitar.
