IBMA to Announce 2009 Award Nominees, Hall of Fame Honorees

Nashville, Tenn. — Del McCoury and Alan O'Bryant will announce final nominees for the 20th Annual International Bluegrass Music Awards at the Country Music Hall of Fame's Ford Theater on August 13, 2009.

IBMA Hall of Fame inductees and Distinguished Achievement Award honorees will also be announced. The awards show will take place on Thursday, October 1, at the Ryman Auditorium.

Press Conference Details:
Thursday, August 13
9:15 a.m. - Media load-in
9:30 a.m. - Breakfast
10 a.m. - Press conference begins

Location: Ford Theater, Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum, 222 Fifth Avenue South, Nashville.

An all-star collaboration of reigning and former IBMA Award recipients, including Dailey & Vincent, Dale Ann Bradley, Adam Steffey, Stuart Duncan, Scott Vestal, Phil Leadbetter, Josh Williams and Mike Bub, will perform at the press conference.

Nominees will be available for media opportunities following the announcement.
