Frank Wakefield - Ownself Blues

Mandolin legend Frank Wakefield has released his newest solo effort, Ownself Blues on Patuxent Music, a marvelous release of original material that includes two of his favorit classical selections done bluegrass style.

Support from Michael Cleveland on fiddle, Mike Munford on banjo, Jordan Tice on lead guitar, Audie Blaylock on rhythm guitar and Darrell Muller on bass. Special guests Taylor Baker on mandolin, Nate Leath on fiddle and Jessie Baker on banjo.

A CD release show will be held May 2, 2009 at the Garrett Park Town Hall in Garrett Park, Maryland. To celebrate the release of the CD a copy will be included with the $20 admission price.
