Magnus Zetterlund and Nordic - Metropol

Swedish based mandolin player Magnus Zetterlund and his band Nordic, one of the most exciting new acoustic groups in Europe, have released Metropol.

Nordic plays new folk music with narrative melodies and challenging rhythms. The Swedish nyckelharpa meets mandolin and cello in an ensemble with space for spontaneous ideas. The young band energetically challenge and test the hazy contours of tradition.
