A Gilchrist Model 1 mandolin commissioned from luthier Steve Gilchrist will soon be offered for sale through the Mandolin Cafe by an anonymous individual. Full proceeds from the final price will be donated to Butch Baldassari and his family to help offset medical expenses brought on by radiation and chemotherapy treatment and his ongoing battle to maintain his health.
