ATTIKA - Musica Poetica
Musica Poetica is the title of the first release from Greece's ATTIKA Plucked String Orchestra and is dedicated to the famous Greek poet Nikiforos Vrettakos. The recording reflects samples of Vrettakos poets (in Greek and English/American) between the music of J. Bach, A. Vivaldi, H. Purcell, F. Mendelssohn, N. Mantzaros (arranged by Victor Kioulaphides), J. Offenbach, P. Tchaikovsky and C. Galanti.

The fifth annual River of the West Mandolin Camp will be held June 6-9, 2013 at The Menucha Retreat Center overlooking the spectacular Columbia River Gorge just 20 miles east of Portland, Oregon. Featured mandolin instructors include Don Stiernberg, Carlo Aonzo, Radim Zenkl, and Brian Oberlin.
