Snakehead
Snakehead front and back, same instrument
Simply named because the top of the headstock looks like a snake's head.
The peghead tapers from small to large from the top, rather than the other way around.
Conventional wisdom is that these somehow sound better, and prices go up accordingly.
The snakehead peghead can be found on any gibson A-model from Ajr-A4.
