Here's a link to our local newspaper who profiles a seven year old mandolin player. http://www.therepublic.com/
The best line is, "I want to be a picker so I can get rich and buy hot dogs." They add videos throughout the day so you may need to search for the one called A boy and his mandolin.

That Kyle is something else!
![]() I believe that he likes ![]() He's come down to our jam in Vine Grove, Ky a few times. He'd pick a few tunes, then he'd have his Dad take him out to the vending machines for a snack.

kyle is a great kid i have been picking with him since he was 5 years old i tried to make a link but i can't get it to work, so if you go to you tube and search " mt pleasant string band " you will see some videos of the band i am in with kyle and i trading solos.
we have a lot of fun with him a lot of the locals know him as " the ham" and it fits his personality to a tee |

that would be him, he is something else gets better and better every time i see him. he has a great danny robberts signed F5l he is playing there. there is another clip from that show, he had walked up to our singer, who is about 6'5" and just says "play something in a minor key" so we do a version of red rocking chair. he ain't afraid to step right out there and just go for it.
