Not sure if this is the right place. I'm looking for some Minnesota people. Does anyone know a good luthier in the Minneapolis area?

    Thanks.

There are lots of us--Check out the Social Group of MN mando pickers. There are a number of good luthiers in the Mpls area depending on what you need. I suggest Charlie Hoffman's shop: Kevin does great repair and set up work. Kari Larson used to do the same out of Homestead Pickin' Parlor in Richfield. If you need one built, that's another matter. I know a couple in MN but there are probably more.

Oh, and swing by Blackbird Music at 35th and Cedar (kitty corner from Matt's bar) tonight or any Thursday at 7. We have a very relaxed bluegrass-y (not strict, not crazy fast) jam 7-9 p.m.

Thanks! I just need a fret replacement. I have heard of the Blackbird. I'll have to come over some time!
