Thread: Thinking about KM-300E:  1980's.

    I saw a 5 string 80's KM-300E, anybody have experience with this one? I have read about the new 4 string version, any new input on this one as well? Thanks, dy.

    I've owned both the KM-300E and the much rarer semi-hollow body KM-400E. The KM-400E was a much nicer built e-mando. Much more solid feel to it and real nice fretwork. It was built kinda like the neck-tru-body idea; solid down the middle but it has f-holes that open up into the "wing chambers". I have photos of the KM-400E if you PM me.

    Had a Km300E. Didn't dig it. YMMV.
