    Default Swing 51

Perused an old 3-ring binder where I have this tune's music (looks like from TablEdit), which I believe was transcribed by Mike Stangeland, probably 15+ years ago now. Both David's and Darol's solos are noted out. Messed with it a bit. Gotta say, this was just a killer mandolin solo, with so many things going on in it. Triplets, expressive/smooth trem, perfect note selections, harmonics. The triplet flurry over the CMAJ7 as Grisman approaches the end of his solo *still* sends goosebumps (and *still* can't play it, 37 years later).

Tony Rice wrote a good one, dinnit he?

Hadnt heard of it so I found a poor recording of what appears to be rag tag group of amateurs attempting it.

Watching MikeM, I can see where Theile picked up some of his body language.

No matter where I go, there I am...Unless I'm running a little late.
