In general, these are a perfect set for tons of tunes, styles, and tones...yes or no?

Well, I have bought a Gallatin and a Hyalite Oval hole w/Mcintyre #pickup as my new number one and two mando's. #I thought they'd be a great pair, something to cover all area's of music for a long while. #I am doing the family thing now, and have saved up for one long haul type of purchase. #I hope I am right, but we all know about MAS. #I turned 35 mid Jan, and feel this is a b-day type thing as well, but the big theme here is "long haul" because the days of instrument purchases are coming to a rapid close and diapers are all over the place...ha, later, dy.
Don't you pretty much have one of everything by now, anyhow?Originally Posted by

Anyhow, I like those matte-finish Webers. I played a Hyalite with D hole that rocked my world a few months ago. Have fun.
tele, I've got to tell you that my Hyalite (Maple b/s) is everything I'll need. In the short time I've had it, I've really fell for this little box. I recorded the other day with it. There was a bit of OMG to the sound!

Most of mine are Gibson's but I really would like my next mando to be a Bridger F or a oval hole Bighorn.

Well FOTW's messed up on my Hyalite order, they said that the instrument had bracing issues and was being sent back to Weber...and would I like to buy a different instrument, twice the cost, NO WAY!!! So I took the theme to Elderly and they will put a McIntrye in the Gallatin I ordered, and I will wait a bit later to track down a Hyalite. I'm very discusted with FOTW's....later, dy.
Very sorry to hear of your problems with FOTW.
But rest assured that Weber has unreal customer service.
