Was checking out Weber's website and saw that they are introducing a line of guitars at NAMM. I hope someone plays one and posts here on the Cafe. I bet they sound sweet! I can't wait!

Jim- I hope to test fly these (those archtops look great in the photos) and the Larrivee mandolins on Sunday. I'll post a report sometime next week.
Thanks I'll be looking for it. Talked to Vern Brekke and he said they they built a flat top guitar too now THATS the one I would love to see.

Isn't the mahogany one in the first post a flat top? Looks like a flat back anyway -- at least no reflections from an arch. Also the heel doesn't have the Celtic knot deal. Generally, archtops have maple backs like the first two. They all look pretty sweet!
Well, I had a chance to check out the Webers today, but they were in the large hall, sandwiched in a passageway between electric instruments and sound reinforcement products. I couldn't hear a thing! The new guitars were of a somewhat unique smaller-body design; they were attractive, and felt good!I also spoke at length with Mary Weber, and she seems to be a wonderful person.
