Does anyone have a copy of "The White Brothers" album (Clarence and Roland White)? I would like to obtain a copy...can be duplicated on cassette or cd.

Please email me @ smyrnagc@bellsouth.net. I will be glad to pay for a good quality copy.

Ah yes, the Live in Sweden record, I remember it well. Roland's break on the Clarence vocal on "Tell Me Baby..." was, how to say, improvised big time!

I don't have it. I just dug up the info from the web. It's Rounder 0073 so it should be floating around out there somewhere. (re-releassed in 1988?)

This is one of my favorite albums, especially for Clarence. Did Rounder ever reissue it?

I have the Live in Sweden album on vinyl (and nothing left to play vinyl!). It is a really nice album and gives a tantalising sense of what might have been...
I really must get around to burning all those old vinyls... onto cd I mean.

I had a very bad tape of it off of a very scratchy record

but I remember it was a gem, definatley ground breaking stuff that influenced folks like Grisman and Rice, and believe it or not Doc Watson.

The mando pickin on it was quick and very Monroe-ish but the whole record had a very laid back feel to it except Clarance's lightnin speed "Black Mountian Rag".
