    Default Marc Woodward's latest gem

    This deserves many superlatives:

What version is yours based upon, Marc?

I can't say I knew this tune before, but I see the likes of Big Bill Broonzy and Eric Clapton have played it.

There is also a great rendition of this on Marc's Bluemando album.

Ha, thanks! I wasn't going to post this here as its a bit messy and the key is too high for me to sing comfortably. I recorded this for a friend who has the cd and wanted to know how i played it....
Anyway, I first heard the Broonzy version many, many years ago on the legendary black and white noir-y film of him playing in a French cafe - I'm sure it's on YouTube somewhere. It stuck in my mind and I kind of worked out my arrangement from there - so it may be quite wrong compared to other versions....

Glad you liked it anyway, thanks.

    Cheers
    Marc
