Shindig on the Green, Asheville, NC
A fine time is had during the summer evenings Saturday night downtown in Asheville. Always lots of good mandolin playing, and sometimes some superb fiddling!!! Here is the set from The Lost Monroe Brothers, Harry and Speed Monroe (Evan Reilly and Tom Isenhour). Joining us were Fred Skellington and the "..truest fiddler in the Blue Grass Music....", Bobby Hicks. Enjoy some Bill tunes.....

Awesome. I sure do love going to it. You get to meet and jam with some very unique people from all over. 2 weeks ago I got to meet and jam with the Spann family. Carl (Karl?) Spann makes one the absolute best mandolins imho. Nick Chandler has one and it is incredible. Also, Danny Spann is one solid banjo picker and singer.
