Would anyone happen to have an email address for Mr. Monteleone? If so, a PM would be great...thank you very much.

I know it is not what you asked for, but there is a phone number listed in the Cafe Builders database
I believe that info in the database is outdated by a few years. For some reason, he does not list any contact info on his web page which is under construction. I assume that he prefers it that way.

Playing lately:
Brentrup A4C -- 1915 Frank Merwin Ashley violin -- 1904 Embergher Type 3 -- 1937 Gibson L-Century -- 1939 Gibson L-00 -- ca. 1890s Celebrated Benary Banjo -- 1985 Monteleone Grand Artist Mandola
His phone number used to be on the web site, and if you called and left a message he would get back to you (judiciously, I suppose). Perhaps it will return when the site is back up.

Every single builder entry is checked annually. When someone leaves information off their site that was once there we don't automatically remove it from the database. Sometimes it reappears, sometimes it doesn't. Possible his information is not correct but we often find builder web sites are poorly maintained and contain bad information. The suggestion that information here is not being monitored though, that's simply keyboard jockey chip-shot commenting.
Addendum: just called the phone number. "Hello, you've reached Monteleone Guitars..." Apparently a phone number isn't contact information, people just don't want their email address posted on forums and web sites.
John told me: "My poor old website is under construction. Seems to be taking forever but we'll get there soon I hope."
I wrote and asked permission to share his email with chabakkah, which I will do in a private message.
Scott: I never made any such suggestion that info was not monitored. I tried calling that number a week or so ago and got a number not in service msg. Perhaps I misdialed.
I have found other out-of-date info and usually email that fact to you. I f you prefer I didn't mention it, then I won't.
The database is an excellent resource and I do appreciate it, but no need to cast aspersions.

Sorry, your insinuations were simply wrong. You shot first, not me. Dialing a number incorrectly isn't a license to say things are out of date. Have it your way.
