    Hi Pete,

    Thanks for posting that. I was just watching Wes play this yesterday on the excellent Jazz Icons DVD and wondering if I might be able to play that on mandolin one day. Here's my chance to find out.

    That video is from 1965 and is a different version from the Riverside one I posted (1961). The '65 version is much slower than the Riverside cut. Many of Wes' tunes evolved over time and as he had a working band, as opposed to the studio musicians. Wes' playing is always cool, no matter which version!

    As soon as I can transcribe it, I'll post the shout chorus for Twisted Blues.
