    Default Amati Mandolin

    Hi,
I'm new here in this forum.
While I was searching for a used mandolin I came across this old bowl back mandolin:

Since I'm more interested in a bluegrass mandolin, I thought maybe there's a collector for old mandolins here in this forum The seller wrote it would be out of a descendant of the Nicolo Amati family...maybe it's just another kind of a pseudo "Stradivari"?

I think this is probably the link Jim intended.
