Default Lazarus and the Rich Man

    Hi all,

I am a newbie to instruments of any sort. I bought a mandolin about 6 weeks ago and now I can play Amazing Grace while looking at the Bluegrass Mandolin for the Complete Ignoramus book on string at a time. Anyway, I am looking for an easy to understand one string picking version Lazarus and the Rich Man that Larry Sparks plays.

    Thanks

Why does it have to be a one-string version?

"Amazing Grace" covers a whole octave, and most people would find it more difficult to play the tune on a single string than to play it on at least two strings.

I guess I need to take lessons. I don't know an octave from octane. I can only go from D to G to B etc very very slowly one finger at a time ( I meant to say one finger at a time not one string in my first post). Jean, I listened to that song and you're correct, but I can't find anything other than lyrics

    Thanks for the replies
